Dog Licenses
September 28, 2026
Letters are being sent today to every Town of Hopkinton resident (and probably a few sent in error to some who aren't residents), reminding you that if you own a dog, it is NYS law that you license the dog as soon as it turns four months of age. Licensing is easy. Bring in or mail a copy of the dog's current rabies vaccination certificate, along with $7.50 for a spayed/neutered dog or $15.50 for an intact animal, and you will be issued a license. It's just that easy. There's still time to take advantage of free rabies clinics in St. Lawrence County. For more information, call 315-328-4187, ext. 1.
Save yourself the embarrassment of a ticket and come in and say hello to the town clerk instead of the court clerk :)
